About WIGS 2.0
Established during the Jurassic period, WIGS is a golf society that has evolved over time into what we see today. Many have come and many will go (fingers crossed) but fun is the only objective and having access to this website means you have a ticket for the ride........... for now!
Format
WIGS golf days will take place on the 3rd Saturday of every month (except December and if specific circumstances occur) There will be 12 events in total (where possible) and the format will be individual Stableford. There will also be Nearest the Pin competitions on all Par 3 holes.
The player with the highest individual Stableford total will be crowned Champion and receive a cash prize as well as the coveted winner’s trophy.
The player with the lowest individual Stableford total will be crowned Loser and receive a cash prize as well as the not so coveted COCK.
Those players finishing in second and third place will also receive a cash prize as will the winners of the Nearest the Pin competitions
In the event of a tie in any position the countback method will be applied to separate those involved.
Any player that has not won anything may be asked to present the prize. It is well within your rights to refuse, however you do so at your own risk!!!
